With its pioneering design and innovative features, the GOLD unit set a new benchmark for energy efficiency and performance. Three decades later, GOLD remains the cornerstone of Swegon’s proposition.

Today, GOLD continues to lead the way. With a focus on sustainability, we are committed to reducing the embodied carbon of our units while extending the lifespan of existing units already in the market. By introducing recycled and renewably produced steel with Magnelis® coating (C5) inside our units we have reduced the total GWP by around 10% and a GOLD unit now contains roughly 15% recycled material.

Swegon makes it easy to find the best products for the job, but also early-stage simulation tools to make sure the system is optimised and the requirements are set at the right level from the very beginning.

AHU Design is a product selection software that simplifies the process of sizing and configuring your air handling unit. It allows you to perform advanced energy calculations to ensure that the solution is optimised to meet your requirements. It permits flexible exports via plug-ins of your CAD designs and is integrated with our Mollier diagram to calculate temperature and humidity change etc.

System optimisation

Several Swegon products can be interconnected and optimised. Systems and crossover products that function on multiple levels help create an optimal indoor climate solution that brings the highest comfort at the lowest energy cost.

GOLD MultiLogic is a system that operates 2 or more GOLD units installed in the same duct system so that they behave as one unit. It combines the benefits of parallel and serial operation in a hybrid solution for lowest energy consumption, enabling lower airflow using several smaller air handling units rather than one large unit. Smaller units are generally easier to install and offer space optimisation and having multiple units also simplify maintenance and service with redundance possibilities. READ MORE

SMART Link+ connects GOLD air handling units with our chillers and heatpumps and links the indoor climate demands to an optimised production of heating and cooling. As the SMART Link+ is an embedded standard option on Swegon control platforms SMART Link reduces on-site installation time and costs as all that’s needed is to connect all units to a network.

WISE is a complete system for demand-controlled indoor climate. The basic purpose of WISE is to adjust the indoor climate to exactly the level required. It ventilates, cools and heats neither too much – which costs energy – nor too little – which adversely affects comfort. With WISE you can combine high energy efficiency, an ideal indoor climate and a full overview of the whole system.

Our digital services are gathered under the name of Swegon INSIDE. These services allow different target groups to monitor, control and visualise compatible units in an HVAC solution, as well as the indoor climate inside a building. Get more from each installation by connecting products to our cloud and make use of the data to monitor the performance.

Connecting products to the Swegon INSIDE cloud enables digital services and remote monitoring.

ALL GOLD units are delivered Swegon INSIDE Ready, meaning ready to connect to the Swegon INSIDE cloud. It is provided through a software update in IQLogic along with a digital certificate that makes sure that each GOLD unit is a verified product, permitted to connect to the Swegon INSIDE Cloud.

Not only air handling units are connected to the Swegon INSIDE cloud, allowing you to manage many different Swegon products in the same cloud, using the same tools. That is one of a kind.
